Bald Spot- Fighting or Medical Problem??

Hi guys.  I've just noticed a bald spot on my boy Toby right above his eye that wasn't there yesterday.  He and his brother are 6 month old kittens and are always play fighting- some friends have said that its likely Hugo just took a chunk out of the hair.  There are a few tiny red dots on the skin where the patch is but the skin is smooth.  On both the cats I've noticed that this area on the face is where the hair is the thinnest anyways.  So what do you think? Is this something to be concerned about or just brothers playing rough?

I have had cats scratch themselves like that. The one was outside and had fleas and made it pretty bad(he was kind of wild so putting flea meds on him was not possible for a long time).  Another had ear mites but it was obvious as she would rub ear onto carpet. Keep an eye on it as long as they seem alright to see if it changes.  Clip their nails if you can.
