Having a good pcp is definitely positive! And no cancer too. I hope with having the diagnosis' they can figure out a better treatment plan!
The doctor made it clear they haven’t completely ruled out cancer yet. They have to find out what the lesion on his liver is first. I am not as worried about that because he has had it for years.

I'm glad you like his new doc.

How are you holding up? :hugs:
I guess I am okay. I have had trouble sleeping the last couple of nights . I think it is because of being worried about his confusion.

I just came across your post today. I am sorry that I didn't find it sooner. You and husband are in my thoughts and🙏. I had a very sick love one (Heart Failure), so I know that everyday it is an uphill battle. I know the emotional toll this can have on you. Stay strong. You are not alone. HUGS.🤗

Thought that I should update with the good news. Hubby has had 2 biopsies since the specialist was leaning toward the possibility of lymphoma as the cause of his high calcium. Both came back negative for cancer. He has been diagnosed with sarcoidosis however, which is the cause of the high calcium. It is manageable. He still has to have a lesion on his liver investigated and they still need to figure out the cause of his anemia. His PCP is hopeful for the transplant though! Yesterday he had a bad day. He was confused and extremely tired. He seems to have at least one day a week like that.

posiepurrs posiepurrs That is good news! OF course he is going to have good and bad days.. He is going through a ton of stuff.. and with electrolytes 'off', it is harder for him to bounce back...

Please take some time for yourself.. even if it is just an hour a day.. in your room, away from Him.. keep the door open, so you can hear if he calls, but just do nothing, or something for yourself.. force yourself to do so... it does help....

(((hugs)))

So happy your husband got a good report. Will pray that the lesion on the liver turns out to be nothing serious and the Sarcoidosis and high calcium level is brought under control. Wishing you and your husband all the best.🤗
