I don’t actually know what to do I’ve got small children in the house and I need to figure out how to get her to vet with the kids

Hopefully she will be able to push it out soon. You can try pulling gently when she pushes to get the kitten out.

It could be this kitten is dead, or can be revived if born soon. It could also be the next kittens will all be born alive and okay.

These things happen. Do you feel that she is in an emergency situation? Or do you feel it can wait a few minutes?

Also, if you have an emergency vet nearby, and you feel it’s an emergency, you can bundle the children in your automobile with their blankets, and take your cat in, without saying too much to alarm the children — just the cat needs a checkup.

All should be well now. The rest should be fine!

You are brave and you helped by breaking the bubble and helping the baby out!

The next kittens may come fast or mom may need a rest between. It’s all normal.

Mum licked the kitten, the placenta is still inside her.
I was expecting it to be dead so was happy to see it moving.
It’s the same as her a snow lynx Bengal

So happy all is well. Placenta will come before too long. See that the kitten latches eventually, though latching may be delayed if mom delivers again quickly.

How is it going? Is momma taking care of the kitten, etc

If not (she is perhaps still in labor, you must probably step in some... Making sure the kitten is warm, massaged,
gets dropw with water to buy time...

Labour stopped she still just only has the one kitten. She seems ok is this interrupted labour?

I also have a pregnant cat currently that mated sometime between July 12-July 24 so she is due any day now, I just wanted to include that in here.

Okay then I wouldn’t worry right now, she could just be resting. But if you see her start to strain and nothing is coming out, and it’s over 30 minutes of the straining, I’d definitely call an emergency vet.

She sounds fine! She may have the other two today or even tomorrow. Cats do this and it’s normal. (I’m getting ready for work.)

Has mom eaten or drank? Offer her kitten formula to drink in the nest. The extra calcium will help her with labor and nursing.
