Ava recall and pets at home covering blood test

Hi I thought this might be helpful for someone else that has been affected by the AVA food recall. I had an appointment at vets4pets and happened to mention my kitten had been on the recalled food. The vet suggested blood test and said I would be able to claim the money back from pets at home. I rang pets at home to confirm this, I didn't have a receipt but the lady said if I scanned my VIP card then they could find the transaction for the food on there. Luckily the vets covered the costs so I didn't have to claim this back but thought it may be handy for any one else in the same situation. I just rang the customer service number and they told me all the info.
