Judith Kerr, author of numerous children's books and especially for us the Mog the Forgetful Kitty has passed away. German born, she and her family escaped Hitler, ending up in England. She wrote and illustrated so many darling books - The Tiger Who Came to Tea is another charming book. But forgetful Mog is sweet. We've all known cats who are not he brightest bulb in the lamp, just like Mog. Don't need to be a child to smile when you read these books.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm so sorry for the loss. May she RIP with all the other furry creatures she fondly wrote about in her books.

I grew up with Judith Kerr's books so I was very saddened to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace.
