The Straight and the Curvy have about the same stability - and rambunctious cats will knock either over.

Angle Scratch Curvy - Carleton is a persian and not exactly the most rambunctious cat, lol. :wink: But a vertical scratching post would suit him perfectly and help greatly because it's so difficult to trim his nails, i.e. that's when he gets the most rambunctious. :D

Angel Scratch. Cookie prefers vertical scratchers at a slight angle. I actually feel upright scratchers are more natural too- trees grow vertically.
