My cat loves the red dot he knows were it comes from when he's had enough he tries to get it from my hand. He likes to bat the chain on it.

I was very wary about laser pointers after I read about the cat having to be able to touch the pretend prey. One summer minish stayed with my mom, who has motion difficulties so used one to keep her active. She came back obsessed. Totally understood it was a toy. came dashing when she heard it jingled in another room. every evening she paced around the box it was normally kept, then demanding it to be operated. But she got very frustrated as she played and kept looking for the dot for about half an hour after i turned it off. I tried ending the game with pointing at a kibble. didnt work. so I reduced to evening sessions, shortened the sessions. then batteries finished and we moved on to other games.
