While waiting for the vet to call me back, thought I would ask all the cat people here. I was told to spray the wound twice a day for 10 days.
Questions:
1. do I clean it before each spraying? If so, how do I clean it?
2. after it's healed, how do I clean the spray off his hair?

I remember when my boy had a gaping wound near his bum, the vet gave Saline (Water) to clean the wound. You can ask your vet for it. As for spraying the aerosol bandage without messing up the nearby fur, maybe you can get a soft plastic sheet and cut a hole the size of the wound and each time you spray it, use the plastic sheet and cover the back and spray through the hole. This way you'll get less spray on the fur but all at the wound.

Maybe other members have better suggestions. Wait and hear their reply.

I hope the wound heals fast. Get well soon kitty and don't lick your wound :vibes: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes:

A damp wash cloth should be able to remove any residue off the fur.
