I know I know. It's hard to tell. But I've had this little Stray for about a week (8 days). She's eating buckets of kitten food. I can pretty clearly see her kitties move at times. Due to her being skinny from living outside, it's maybe making her belly look bigger.
Sadly I have anxiety so this whole fostering a pregnant mom affair is giving me .. a flair in my anxiety, I suppose. I like having "rough" ideas of what life brings. :(

She isn't nesting yet, she sleeps on the bathroom counter despite having other places and a nesting box. She's super lovey and wants me with her usually but she's been sleeping a lot today which is nice.

Any thoughts would ease my mind!

All we can really tell you is that she's getting close! You can usually feel the kittens 2-3 weeks before delivery.

Do you have supplies already? This is a good time to prepare!

Thank you for taking her in. She's lucky to have you.

:catrub:Aww, she is a cutie and very blessed that you have taken her in! Are her nipples sticking out and getting waxy? That usually happens when delivery is near. We have good articles and plenty of threads on that exact issue. Fortunately, cats usually deliver on their own with no need for intervention. It can't hurt to read up on the process, though. I would get her some delivery/den options. They seem to like closets, under the bed and on top of the bed, so i would put out some newspapers and old towels on top of puppy pads. You can also put out a cardboard box or two, one with no lid and one that is more like a cave with an opening cut out. This is an exciting time for both of you - I look forward to updates.

She is a beautie! spotted, possibly point too... Thus possibly a snow bengal of pet quality.
at least half of her children should be spotted too, but probably none a point.

They usually start getting their milk just prior to giving birth. Not all cats will "nest".
I have had a few indoor cats not nest at all, they just started dropping kittens in the middle of the room or the bed and found a suitable place later.
You can encourage nesting by placing a box or open cage in an area she sleeps frequently. if she loves and trusts you a lot she will choose to be near you or something that smells like you when she gives birth.

She has had two litters before I could catch her. One she had my current cat (who she abandoned under a log) he's a grey striped tabby short hair, super tiny. Her other litter she had two solid white and one solid black. Genetics are weird.

I've done all I can for her being comfortable and reading articles. We are super prepared! I'm just ready for the wait to end.

So last night the kittens were moving like crazy and I could hear bubbles and she was having weird breathing. Today her belly on one side is like a small bulge and the other side is a smaller fuller bulge. It's really strange. Is this normal? Like the one side is definitely like disproportionate to her other. It's like a teeny baby is there and the other is semi normal but smaller?

White dominates over other patterns, so with an all white father explains the all whites in other litter. The solid black kitten?
More difficult. She is red, so she doesnt carry black. it must be the father again. I would guess the father carried both all white and all black. Half of his children got the white gene AND hers tabby gene, becoming white outside.
Half got no white gene, so the black become visible. so this litter proves she isnt NOT purebred however pet quality, she is at best a natural dau to someone. A purebred would have the tabby gene doubled up.

The striped kitten in the first litter? I think (dont remember) mackerel dominates spotted tabby, so its again such a case of dominance. We know thereaf father was striped...

Unless hers spots arent true spots but broken mackerel, in such a case it would be natural she got a striped child.

But yeah, cats genetics and heritage is weird. Odd colors in the same litter are often explained by several different fathers. and while it happens, the most common seems to be ONE father. If we know the basics of cats genetics we can usually explain very much... And yet, Im doing simplifications and am trying to be pedagogical. But hear someone really knowleable, and it becomes a maze. :)
But yeah, sometimes it become clear there were several males contributing to the batch. And sometimes we simply dont know and dont understand. :) "God is bigger" as some use to say. :)

She's making biscuits and digging up blankets and running around. Her tummy is still uneven and tight and you can see what looks like full kittens just laying and nothing around them in her belly.
I gave her a hood for her birthing box and she ran in. Purring constantly.
I haven't seen any discharged or anything else but is it.. time?

i already had a thread but I'm desperate for reassurance. A tiny bit of liquid and a white long blob came out on the floor. Is this the mucus plug and is it normal?!

It sounds like the mucus plug. Totally normal. Pregnant cat? Watch her for the rest of the day. Sometimes labor takes time.
