I got one for Christmas and planted it a few days ago. It came with 6 different herbs. So far I have decided that the light is extremely bright.

Abby has zero interest in it. She's extremely well-behaved and does not get on the kitchen counters. Keep in mind she's 15 now though.Wow, that is so cool but how do you keep Abby away from it?
Oh this is WAY brighter than a nightlight. It lights up a good portion of the downstairs when it is dark. The light is pretty bright, but I'd count it as a nightlight. Is it in your kitchen, 'cause, you know, that's a good place for a night light.
The pack my husband got for me was all herbs. What's it going to grow?
For the herb pack it stays on for 17 hours. I have it set so the 7 off hours are at night.Do the instructions say that you should keep the light on around the clock?
I'm hoping to have sprouts in the next few days. You'll have to post pics of the progress of your herb plants.![]()
It does feel warm if I put my hand under the lamp.Teeny plantsDoes the lamp provide some heat for the plants to grow?
I'll let you know.Is this good for people that can't keep plants alive because I recently got into plants and almost all of them are dead already...![]()

If there are any healthy segments left, pinch them off and put them in a jar that has rocks in the bottom, with a bit of water in the rocks (not enough to reach the cuttings). They should start growing roots within a few weeks and you can replant those. The Schlumbergeras all got fungus and have been rotting away at the roots for weeks now
Not that I know of. I haven't seen Abby on the kitchen counters in years.Have the cats tried to eat the plants or mess with the AeroGardenAbbysMom ?
