Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone out there could give me some help as far as building a cat tree? I have been looking at them for quite a while now as Jasper has pretty much outgrown his, and now with his sister coming I think it is time to be planning for another one. My main question is how do you attach the carpet/material to the wood? I was thinking I would use plush because that is what is on the one he has now and the material is holding up very well, plus he has been caught chewing on the carpet in front of the doors when he is shut out of a room and I don't want him eating any...I am pretty sure of my ability to build what I want from looking at the pre built ones online and at the pet stores. To get a big sturdy one premade is going to cost me about $200.00 and even then it doesn't have all the features I would like, like sisal rope legs for scratching
. I got one of the cheaper ones on ebay but as I said he has outgrown it, although it would have been adequate for smaller cats probably...any way, any help or advice would be appreciated, as I am not sure whether to try to glue, staple or whatever the material/carpet to attach it to the wood.....thanks everyone
