There is something wrong with my 1 year old indoor cat Minou, we have taken her to the vet and they said there was nothing wrong with her.
She sometimes she has episodes where one or more of her limbs (most of the time her legs) twitches, if you put you hand on her legs it feels like her muscles are jerking. It seem to happen after she does a lot of exercise, it also might get worse when it is colder, it used to happen a lot more then it does now, for a few months it has not happened.
She also doesn’t really jump she normally climbs up or pulls her self up.
Her back feet don’t seem to work as well as they should.
She falls of things very easily and can’t flip over like a normal cat would.
Sometimes when she concentrates on something her head twitches
when she does anything faster then a fast walk her back legs start hopping
Her tail doesn’t seem to feel anything or at least not much
And she squints, here is a picture of her squinting

The vet may not have seen any of these things happen during the appointment so thought nothing was wrong. Could you take some videos of these things happening and show them to the vet at another appointment? Maybe try a different vet, too.

We told the vet what was happening and he just said she was scared and that there was nothing wrong with her and what do we expect him to do, we mentioned it to a different vet and they said a similar thing

What a pretty little girl she is! I do agree that if you can get any of this in video form it might help the vet make a helpful diagnosis. There seem to be a number of issues that happen, not all at once, so you have to make a collection, more or less, of all the symptoms.

I am not a vet and am only reading your description of Minou's activity. From what I am assuming, this is connected to the rear legs or back of her body/spine. It sounds as if she is able to use the front legs to pull herself up and climb. Some of the symptoms disappear for a long time but do some of them remain constant?

If she were my cat, I would want someone to check her for any neurological issue or possible injury. She certainly could have an injury from playing too hard, but I am not comfortable with the bunny hopping, absence of sensation in the tail, and muscle twitching. I think that you need another vet (I know that you said you had seen two) or a specialist in neurology or orthopedics (if anything is available to you) to make a determination.

This seems so dismissive of the vets.

I agree, take a video so you can show them - but I'd also do some research and find a vet with some good reviews maybe who will take you seriously.

Thank you!
It is connected to all of her, mostly her back half. The only thing constant is her not balance as well (which has gotten better), hopping run, climbing and her tail. I think she has had it since she was born we got her at 8 weeks old, but it only became noticeable when she got older at about 6 months old, thats when we noticed because she started the twitching episodes. Looking back she was not very co-ordinated when she was 8 weeks old, she would try to smack a toy and miss most of the time.
