Any DIYers have a litter spray recipe?

I would like to know how to make a spray that can be used on clumping litter. All of the commercial ones that worked and were affordable have been discontinued this year. I think denatured alcohol, baking soda and enzymes will be needed, it have no idea where to source the materials or how much of each to use.

Hi and welcome to TCS. Sorry no one has responded to you yet. What are you trying to accomplish? Reducing odor coming from the litter box? Sometimes, all it takes is mixing in a bit of baking soda. Otherwise, more frequent scooping or thorough cleaning of the box and new litter is all that is needed. Maybe even a change of the litter type.

I have used baking soda, and it does help. Frequent scooping is your best bet though, and this keeps the litter fresher for longer, saving you money in the long run. Is it odor control you're looking for?
The downside to a home made spray is you don't want to contaminate an entire box of fresh litter if your cat decides they don't care for the scent. I scoop my boxes several times a day. I keep a very small trash can with a tight lid lined with a grocery bag next to the box, so it's easy to scoop and seal out odors while keeping the box clean.

I am not sure what you mean by cat litter spray, a deodorant? Which ones have you used?
