My kitty has recently had bloodwork done which showed elevated liver enzymes and billirubin.... and retested which showed that the billirubin had elevated further. She has been finicky about what she will eat and seems to be due to nausea so she was prescribed mirataz and cerenia. Should i be concerned about using these considering her liver problems?

We are still in the stages of trying to figure out why her liver is having problems. Ultrasound showed mild inflammation and was diffuseley hypoechoic but no masses or lesions, nor anything wrong with vessels.

I don't think your Vet would have prescribed anything that would be harmful for the liver, so you should be good to go. If you have any doubts, you should check with them.

Most meds are processed either by the kidneys or the liver, so obviously there is an impact of some sort when using anything. But sometimes the benefit outweighs the risk, especially when used short-term.
