He doesnt have the brown I see in most tabby’s, and has a slightly fainter undercoat, does that make him a silver tabby? Or a dilute black tabby? Also is he going to be long or short haired? He is 12 weeks old. Thanks in advance!

He’s adorable! I’d describe his coloring as silver mackeral tabby and white.

Thank you! I thought it may be silver but I know it’s a rarer colour and he is just a moggy so wasnt sure. Also when I googled silver tabbies some looked way lighter. When I googled silver tabby maine coons they looked just like him though.

He's really cute  and he has the little tufts of fur between his toes and his ears that can be a good indication of fur length. He may well be long haired. :)

Thanks! Ya there were a couple very obviously short haired cats in the litter, and one that had quite a thick coat, then thus fluff ball that definitely had longer hair but he doesnt have the fluffy undercoat. He and his sister has very very soft silky fur, it feels different than the others. Im so curious to see how they will grow!
