Almost An Adult Cat, When To Reduce Feeding?

Indoor-only spayed female, 11 months old. 4.5kg.

Coojee was brought up on raw food at her breeder, we feed her on Thrive chicken tins (one tin in the morning, 1 tin in the evening) & Thrive kibbles (was 30g, now 20g) for lunch. Before bed, she has a few Thrive treats.

I understand that adult cats have 2 meals a day. Is it necessary to progress to 2 meals a day & when should I start this?

A lot of adult cats do well on small, more frequent meals vs 2 larger meals a day. My Jasmine as an adult would throwup on 2 meals a day so we did 4 a day for her. Do what works best for both you and your cat!

Seconding this, there is no set ‘rule’ on 2 meals a day. My cats eat 3 times a day (for a total of 225 calories per day) on a set schedule and a liquid treat tube on random days.

my adults eat 4 or 5 times a day :-)
Does she eat only one flavour and brand? If I were you, I'd rotate with more variety. Imagine eating the same food everyday :-)
