I am now 308 pages into "Bees." VERY good so far. I think I'd have gotten halfway through by now, but I got the book in hardcover (paperback won't be available for a few more months), and let me tell you, holding an 888 page hardback is TIRING!!! LOL, I have to keep stopping to rest my hands! I may drag my lap desk out for the rest of it!

Well, I did finish 'bees" last night, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had thought that it would be the last one of the series, because of the title, "Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.' It's old folk lore that you should tell your bees about everything that happens, especially if someone dies, or they will be insulted and leave. Fooled me. Everyone lived, and other than that, i won't tell those of you who are fans a thing. Other than, she has ANOTHER one in the works. Shot her an email saying, "Please write fast! I'm staring 70 in the face, and refuse to check out until I know what happened!" Given that most of my family lives into their 90's, that might not be an issue!
