I wasn't kidding - it's in already and I'm to pick it up. I sure do have a lot of reading to do!Ours says it is on order and I am second in line. My library is pretty good about getting books and getting them out quickly.

A really good Kindle book is The Quiet Ones by Betsy Revely It's only $2.99 to buy but I read it for free because I have Kindle Unlimited. I pay $ 10.00 per month and have a lot of great choices.I've been reading some of Amazon Kindle's free books and I have to say that they're pretty darn crappy. I finished the Haunting at the Sebring Hotel and I would believe it was written by somebody in high school and that might be too mature. I would have been very upset had I had to pay for this book.
Don't think I'd be interested in the book's subject matter, but do let us know if you spot references to yourself in the pages.I just started the book. I may be in there (disguised). I will let all y'all know.
I've wondered about subscribing to this. I wish they had some sort of a package price on their kindle and audibles.A really good Kindle book is The Quiet Ones by Betsy Revely It's only $2.99 to buy but I read it for free because I have Kindle Unlimited. I think they do. Sometimes I get a free audible just for being a Kindle member.I've wondered about subscribing to this. I wish they had some sort of a package price on their kindle and audibles.
I will need to look into this!I think they do. Sometimes I get a free audible just for being a Kindle member.
I certainly didn't. How depressing, though. Things just never change. It's about a 1900 murder in New Jersey. Who knew that date-rape drugs were such a problem 120 years ago?
I have this one too! I have to get it read I see Margaret Atwood on November 27th! So excited! So now I'm about to start The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
I was lucky, in that my library only got the ebook 2 days ago, and though I didn't get one of the first 20 copies, I was # 2 waiting, and it became available today. Right now there's 470 people waiting!
I won't laugh at you over Nancy Drew if you don't laugh at me over Trixie Belden! I always liked Trixie better. Nancy was a little prissy for me (a function of when the books were written, I'm sure), and the way she treated Ned was just horrid. Poor Ned.Now don't laugh but because of another book I'm reading, I downloaded some Nancy Drew Mysteries!!
No laughing from me, as I used to love Nancy Drew books. As well as The Bobbsey Twins when I was even younger. Now don't laugh but because of another book I'm reading, I downloaded some Nancy Drew Mysteries!!
She's the "shopaholic" author, right?I've been into Sophie Kinsella's books lately and am currently reading Remember Me?.
i can't remember exact titles, but something about Red Gate Farm, Whispering Statue, Clue in the Stagecoach, Clue in the Crossword Cipher. There were quite a few that had long holds on them!!!Which Nancy Drew books did you download?
I don't remember her. hmmm.....I'll have to look her up.I won't laugh at you over Nancy Drew if you don't laugh at me over Trixie Belden! I always liked Trixie better.
