Alaskan Malmultes

Over at our friends place for Christmas dinner last night I couldn't resist the urge to take lots of pictures of their Alaskan Malmultes Koda and Thundra..they are beautiful animals!

This is Thundra (she is the girl)

and Koda is the boy

Wow, I didn't know they got so big! Love that shaggy coat, they look good for cuddles.

They are beautiful and look very well kept! I prefer Malimutes to Huskies...

I would have loved to have a Malamute, they are SUCH divine doggies, but I just think you shouldn't in Perth's climate - it'd be a living nightmare for the poor puppers!

Very true!!, I know even up here the dogs will come inside and say hello to everyone for about half an hour than they get too hot and want back outside. Thundra and Koda make themselves a comfy place to lay in the snow and sleep. (They won't even sleep in the doggie houses that they bought for them!)
