Domestic shorthair is not a breed; it is what we call a shorthaired cat that doesn't belong to any specific breed. Unlike dogs, the vast majority of cats don't have any specific breed ancestry; they are simply domestic cats. Cat "breeds" are a recent invention and represent only about 2-3% of cats in the US.

She is so cute!!! Look forward to her racing around the house everywhere- lol. Kittens can be crazy for the first year or so but it is a lot of fun and they usually enjoy most of the things you give them.
