A Warrior's Heart

It occurred to me this morning that caring for feral cats requires a warrior's heart. I don't feel strong or brave, but I continue to get out there and feed, and fix, bring in the injured, and bury the lost.

To anyone who like me feels alone and overwhelmed - be proud. You are fighting the good fight.

Never give up on cat! Especially a feral, as no one else would care for them if we don't. Of course it is hard. Nothing worth doing is easy, period. Ha, look at working out, eating right, getting enough sleep -- all hard to sustain but worth it. & as so it goes w/ cats & ferals for sure.

I love my feral more since he needs me even more than an indoor cat. I love my indoor very much but he, is a TOM outside & feral & FiV pos. , has also stolen my heart too being unfortunate to have been born feral. He's my boy outside, & inside, she's my lil girl. He's also 2x as big as her, & 2x's her eating food, hehee.

Remember; tough times don't last only tough ppl do.

You are absolutely correct. It never ends, there is always another one, and they live life on their terms. All we can do is to support them as best we can with food, shelter, and medical help.
