A Cat Bridge

I have kitchen cabinets on each side of my window, so in an effort to give Maisie more safe spaces higher up, I asked my dad to build me a cat bridge to connect the cabinets. I painted the underside of the bridge and put it up tonight. So far, neither cat has shown any interest, even with cat treats and cat nip along the plank, but maybe tomorrow. Here are some pictures though. The right side is where they both like to sleep already, so I added a pillow/blanket to the left side too.

OOOH, that's great! I'm sure they'll use it once they're used to it being there. You know they're creatures of habit! They have their paths around the kitchen I expect, but once it's been there for a while hopefully they'll use it to get about

My other half and I just bought our first place so we are also going to get some cat shelves going. Both our boys are indoors so it will give them something to do when we're not around!
