A Breed....or Not?

Not information easily found on Google it seems.
Is a bobcat a breed of cat?
Or would they be referred to as a species?

I did a search and found an article that says " a bobcat contains two recognisable sub species" so I would say species.

Makes me think of that movie "Species". Best I can remember, it was pretty bad. :lol:

Wow, where did you see that? Are you sure that was for Bobcat? If so, someone REALLY dropped the ball with that one.

I googled it by asking if bobcats were a breed or species.

I googled whether bobcats were a breed or species too and saw a lot of info. about bobcat hybrids.
