8 month old rescued kitten & parvo

my sweet boy tested positive for parvo which was a shock because he's vaccinated and I rescued him when he was 8 weeks old. I honestly don't know where he got it from, he was fine and active one day and the next day he wasn't. He is at the vet now and the dr said he needs to stay there for at least two weeks and it's honestly very depressing seeing him suffer. please if anyone can educate me on the stages of parvo or have cats that survived parvo let me know, I tried searching up the stages of parvo and I did not find much..
