4 month old kitten with chronic diarrhea

Update: It’s been 8 days since Luna finished her 15 day course of Metro. I have been giving her a capsule of Nexabiotic daily (half in morning, half in evening) and her stools have been perfect! One other very important detail was I stopped feeding her the prescription diet my vet recommended (Hills I/d) because it actually caused diarrhea in my other healthy kitten and thought maybe it was making the situation worse. Literally right after I stopped feeding her that food her stool got better immediately. I will never use that food again!

It’s only been a week but I’m hopeful that we finally resolved her chronic diarrhea!
