He did it this morning so I added this box this afternoon - I was thinking the same that the litter box he likes the most is maybe too far away sometimes? And he does seem to drink a lot of water. There’s other litter box options close by but the one I just added here is very similar (same litter and style) as the box he’s been using the most lately. So fingers crossed once again.

Well, I know you had him checked and he doesn't have a UTI. Maybe he just gets excited to see you! Maybe this box will do the trick. I hope so. He's hit and miss, so he certainly knows how to use the box. If he's doing a big pee though, it makes me wonder if he has any issues with his little bladder. It will probably turn out to be something really simple.
