3 Litterbox questions

OK - so as you know hubby and I have 2 fur babies (Bonnie and Clyde)

Bonnie will be 2 in June and Clyde 1 in May

Bonnie was very timid when we got her last February (she was approx 7 - 8 months old at the time  but is now a well adjusted cat (as well as she can be living with us!) - she still isnt keen on strangers but the days of hiding under the bed everytime someone came into the house are a distant memory. She has even slept on our bed a couple of times (during the night) which I never thought she would do

if they don't have a problem using the litter box at the same time then it ok but i would still follow the 2+1 rule, two cats=three litterboxes. number 2 not sure what are you asking. number 3 it could be territorial but it could also be the other cat disturbed him or her. someone with more experience should reply

Hi there

Yes we have the 2+1 litterboxes

but they are never used equally - they always both seem to use one (and a different one each day!)

The second question was really whether this happens a lot - its as if she knows she has to dig a hole but then she isnt sure why? just wondered if anyone else had cats that did this?
