Rarely have I seen this many deer at once. I counted 24, but there may have been a few more or less than that. There were several who were half-grown as well and were a little more animated than the adults. It's been incredibly cold here this past week.
When it started getting too dark to take photos, they broke off into groups and went separate ways. It was a very cool sight to see.

Oh, how nice to see so many together! I guess your deer are pretty camera shy? The deer we get around here are so used to seeing people they just stand there and pose while you take pictures.

:lol:
They seem to be! They tend to stick to the woods and fields. Rarely do they come near my fence, and if they do, the second they see anything move they take off.

They have come back to the same spot night after night. I wish they would get a little closer! Two nights ago, two of them had a brief head butting session. It's almost impossible to get a clear video of things like that with them being so far away.
