Hello, so my 2 year old indoor kitty isn't feeling so well. I'll try to give you the best timeline of events that I can. He's been hiding from me since Monday as well as puked Monday at some time, I don't know the specific time though. On Tuesday he was drooling from the mouth so I took him to the vet. They xrayed him and didn't find anything wrong and gave him an anti nausea shot which didn't help. Tuesday night I put him into a room by himself so he would be comfortable. He has a bowl of food and water he hasn't touched and he's still hiding from me and not using the bathroom.
I took him back to the vet today (Wednesday) to get blood work done. They're sending that to the lab so I should hear back tomorrow. Today they gave him another anti nausea shot as well as a new anti bacteria shot. They found a little bit of a blood ring around his private part so they think it might be an infection. I have him back in the same room with food and water and the litter box. I also have some meat flavored baby food in there but he doesn't seem interested in that. He has used the litter box though which is progress. Still no eating or drinking yet at the time I'm making this ( 8:25 pm). He seems to only drool when I offer him food, should I force feed him at all or let this ride it course? At this point I think it may be something with his mouth, which the vets haven't checked yet. If this continues I'll have them take a look there. Any other ideas in the meantime? Thanks for all the help!
Overall his symptoms are: hiding, not eating/drinking, barely using the bathroom, drooling.
