Pros - filled with catnip, durable material
Cons - slightly expensive
My cat definitely knew what this one even inside a paper bag. It smelled so strongly of catnip. The only downside is that it does get a bit gross with so much saliva and fur sticking to it. And thanks to this I realized my cat gets a bit aggressive with it.
Pros - Strong catnip smell
Cons - Gets gross after play
This brand is the strongest smelling catnip toy that I have found. It is completely packed with catnip. It even gets older cats to play more. The one issue is when they are biting and licking it the toy gets gross. The cats enjoy it though. They are also a bit expensive.
Pros - Easy for cats to hold and carry, strong cat nip
Cons - None
I first learned about this when I adopted a rescue cat and he was given this toy as a farewell present from his foster Mom. He loved it and would keep it hidden, to bring out for later. When I adopted the two cats I have now, I bought one of these and it is once again a big hit. I find it all over the house and Paul especially loves to hold it just like a real cigar and bunny kick it. Highly recommended!
Pros - They love it
Cons - A bit pricey
My cats have loved all the Yeowww catnip toys I've bought for them or they've received as gifts. The cigar is fun because it's a "kick" toy. I thought ours had disappeared but it turned up not too long ago. The cats started playing with it again, and now it has vanished into the cat toy abyss once more. I think this product makes an excellent gift for a cat lover or cat friend.
Pros - Kitty loves it
I need a Christmas gift for my kitty one year and out of desperation I picked up this silly looking catnip cigar. Well it was an immediate hit. Sly my cat loved to hold it in her paws and kick it with her feet. When not playing with it she would cuddle or use it as a pillow. Yah it looks weird but she likes it. Who am I to judge!
Pros - Very potent catnip, just the right size for a cat to hold, toss or carry around
Cons - It's always being stepped on because it's hard to see on the floor
We've had this toy for over a year, and it's still a favorite. Our last cat got it and two other Yeowww catnip toys as a Christmas gift from AbbysMom, and this cigar was the one he immediately zeroed in on. He licked it so much that it was constantly soggy. Mogli got all three toys as hand-me-downs, and this is the one he prefers. Every time I hear him licking, I know he's holding his cigar. He loves to toss it around, too. He usually doesn't show much of a reaction to catnip, but the cigar is the big exception. Jamie "graduated" to the ever popular Yeowww banana after a few weeks, but it looks like the cigar will always be closer to Mogli's heart.
