Pros: If simply adopting a cat, you can find some amazing and wonderful cats.
Cons: Impossible to reach Marie, left multiple voicemails, but never received a response. Cats are kept in a shelter with other cats that sick or diseased
For anyone looking to adopt from Tabby Town located in Westby, WI be warned that the shelter in Westby houses close to 60 cats at one time all running loose throughout the house including some that carry contagious diseases such as FIV (Feline Aids).  We had several kittens that Marie, the founder of the shelter, was taking care of while we searched for new housing that would allow cats.  During that time period one of the cats become infected with distemper, even though Tabby Town mentions that they vacinate all of their cats.  Sadly none of the animals that displayed illness or were known to have an infectious disease were isolated from the other cats.
