Pros: Affordable, easy to use
Cons: None
I fed this to one of my male cats. He liked this food. He never had crystals.
Cons: cats did not like it
My used to love Purina products but they would not touch this .
Pros: Keeps UTIs at bay for my girl
We started using this food for one of our female cats (and the other 2 cats she shares living quarters with) 5 years ago in response to a urinary tract infection. Since then we have periodically tried other foods, or tried taking her off of dry food completely, but it has always resulted in some type of urinary tract problem. This food along with her daily canned food helping seems to work in keeping her healthy and comfortable. I took off one star because I feel it is overpriced for the ingredients.

Comments

Many years ago I used this food for both my cats, who had UTI issues, for about 12 years, with  no problems at all.  In fact they both lived until they were 18 each.   That was many years ago, and they may have changed the forumla since then, but we had good luck with this stuff way back then.

Now, I have another UTI cat and  the vet has put her  on a prescription diet for several years, for the same thing, Hills Sicence Diet, CD  ( Not sure what the CD stands for )  and she has done well on that too.
