Latest reviews

Pros: Works like a charm, great grip, neat hair release mechanism.
Cons: Expensive, could hurt kitty if pressed too hard
I've had this tool for a little over a month now and I'm quite happy with it.

It's so effective that I don't want to use it more than once every 3-4 weeks on my medium length haired cat.

Be gentle with it, it has some effective teeth that require little effort.

The obvious downside is the price; for a grooming tool I would never have imagined spending that kind of money but based on the reviews I figured I'd try it out.

My carpets and furniture have less hair on them so it must be helping out.

Is it more effective than your basic grooming brush/comb that you'd find in any retail store? Definitely.   Yet, whether it's worth it is up to you and how much your cat sheds.

Comments

I agree. It is a good tool. It would work great if I could only teach my dear, sweet Anushka to hold still! She goes into this ecstatic state when we brush her... it's not a big problem with a regular brush, but the furminator has to be kept going in the right direction with even pressure.
