Pros: fairly soft, breaks away easily
Cons: the bell annoys my cat
This seems like a decent collar. It's relatively inexpensive and it is a breakaway. It breaks away easily with some level of manual force, so I imagine if a cat were to get snagged, they wouldn't spend much time struggling or panicking before the collar snapped away. Kismet hates collars and wearing anything, so this didn't last long, but the first thing I had to do was clip off the hook and remove the bell. I love the idea of - if she ever escaped - having a warning for wildlife, or even if I lost her in a house/apartment, I could hear her jingle around me. But it was just too distracting for her, since these are the little bells that are frequently in her toys. She kept flipping out and craning her neck just trying to catch the bell under her chin.
