No the yahoo group is what I've been a member of for a couple of years. That's where you need to try. They seem to be pretty much member run, you'll be talking to people in your shoes, and those that have tons of experience. Also files with all the basic info +.
The reading to her is one of my suggestions, as with the don't approach her, let it all be on her terms. I like the idea of getting a second cat, also because if you pet and play with the new one the current one will see a cat trusting you. It can rub off. It's the getting that can be difficult...
Yep, I had a little voice telling me to ask first! Yes, not having multiple threads to worry about does keep it easier. Sorry!
Well, the idea was to let you know we would like to stick with you through the journey. Questions, stories, pictures, etc, Please!
Gosh, you answered so fast!! I wasn't thinking about this forum including kitten care, I was thinking just pregnancy. A brand new thread would be cute, but maybe not best. As long as we get to watch those precious babies!!;)
Ok, I'm not that experienced and this is cat and kitten. Would it be better to just keep it this thread? This is to those who have more experience and know what works best.
Oh my! Please start a thread about the kittens so we can watch as they grow! Then if you run into any questions you'll have a thread to go to without having to start all over. Please!:hyper:
This is proof that he will be fine once the pain is over. I really believe he has crossed the line from healing to being healed; not totally done. He just needs to believe that himself! And so do you.:yess:
I have some different advise, calm down! Your stress is stressing her out and could make her think it's not safe to have the kittens there. Would be a reason she wants out so much. In any animal's mind, if their human is scared, there has to be something to be scared of. They don't understand...
I did have a cat with anal gland cancer. Wish I'd known then all I know now. A better vet may have been better able to help. I'm sure you know what you're dealing with by now, please let us know.
OK, goofed. Feline Assisted Feeding is a yahoogroup, not facebook.
Please go check out this group, it is an educational and support group for people needing to assist feed. Finger, spoon, syringe or tube. [email protected]
If you want info, this is the place to go. Not a...
I would prefer to pm, but my brain isn't working. Facebook page Feline Assisted Feeding group, they know just about everything about tube feeding. Helped me out a lot in the past. I understand we aren't suppose to refer to other social sites, such as facebook, but this is a support group for...
It's wonderful to care so much about your girl, but we want our relationships to bring peace and happiness. Take some deep breaths and relax; hold that sweet furbaby in your arms and let her softness sooth you. Cats pick up on our emotions and can get just as worried. Being that she was sick in...
Ok, that first post had me picturing a cat choking non stop. Something caught in the throat, choking, is an emergency, pure and simple. Some coughing, off and on, is something that needs watched, closely and vet checked if it went on 12 hours+. The long breaks, with your girl being perfectly...
All I can say is that if one of my cats was chocking, he or she would already be on the way to the vet. Did the vet listen to the cat on the phone. I'm surprised they didn't say to bring her in. Can she eat and drink?
