Mushy poop (and diarrhea) is very common in pregnant and nursing cats. I wouldn't worry, but I'd call the vet and let them know.

In all the cats we've had, only one had a problem with free-feeding. All the rest have been able to regulate themselves. I think a bowl of kibble out all the time reduces anxiety and the demands that feeding wet food intermittently does. (Personal preference, I understand!) If you're looking...

Can Cat A be put in a closed room for the night? I'd feed him in his bedroom (lol), leave out dry kibble, and shut the door. You might miss his snuggles...but it might buy you a little more sleep and Cat B a little peace.

Oh, I know they're not counting on this for nutrition. But, they are LOUD when they want to nurse and LOUD when they nurse.They are all nearly as big as mom and very persistent. I hope this doesn't go on for a year, lol!

Okay...this is it for this year. Not perfect, but workable. And, as it's cat-friendly they have no interest in it whatsoever. :lol: We put some favorite ornaments on the garland wrapped around a tension rod right beside this "tree".

WHEN will these kittens stop nursing? They're over four months old.

Hmmm.... Is it possible to get MDF circles cut and drilled at Home Depot or Lowe's? If I had four of those in ascending sizes...maybe I could turn this into a Christmas tree.

@IndyJones I hope you found it somewhere for a LOT less than the one I found, because aside from price I really think we could make this work, lol! Anyone have an idea of how to make this (with FIVE layers, perhaps?) inexpensively?:) I sew and craft..but building skills and tools are VERY limited.
