    Gentle purr + meow

So i've been noticing recently that when i occasionally pet my 12 week old kitten, she purrs gently and then meows once. What does this mean? Is she fed up of the attention and want to be left alone, or is it a sign of some sort of appreciation.

Thanks for your response. I'll keep that in mind. I just wanted to treat her to some tuna to see what her response would be.

Kitten bit while eating tuna from hand

So the title says it all. I tried feed my kitten wet tuna fror the first time, she started licking but then bit my finger quite hard. It left a mark and blood came out so I reacted from a reflex and yanked my hand out. How should i act in such a scenario? I'm trying to find something she goes...

    Teaching kitten tricks?

Hm.. I thought playtime would work because she goes absolutely nuts when i show her my bracelet. She starts rolling around with it and never letting it out of sight.

So i began trying to get her to acknowledge that the clicker sound indicated that she'd get a treat, but she's not very fond of treats. Today, instead of using treats, i used her favourite toy after each clicker sound for a couple of seconds. Her favourite toy is my bracelet.. I'm planning on...

Is my feeding schedule good? (Kitten)

I've switched to a four meal schedule at 6am, 11pm, 16pm and 21pm. And the kibble (dry food) is out for her to eat whenever she wants. Is this a good schedule?

Is my feeding schedule good? (Kitten)

It doesn't say anywhere on the can how much it is suprisingly.. I've changed my schedule to four times a day instead with kibble at hand for her whenever she wants more. But once i start working i'll have to change her schedule starting from 10am to 6am.

Exactly what i do. I've got a bowl of kibble out and feed her three times. Now to change it to four times a day :) The topic got a little sidetracked but thanks everyone who gave tips and took their time to help. It's appreciated!

Thank you very much for the tips! I'll definitely try that out :)   I tried the tapping with the command "Come here" but she just stared at my finger. I'm planning on getting a clicker aswell but my treat reward just isn't that much of a convincing motivational force. I'm trying to find a...
