The only thing I've found that keeps squirrels off of vegetable patches is making a chicken wire "cage" that you can place on top of the patch and then lift off when you need to tend to them. Make sure the wire is the fairly tightly knit kind though or they'll squish their grubby little paws...

They always have the same look on their face too, like "What? Fits me perfectly! What are you talking about?"

Here's a few pics of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. We got him from an awesome breeder about 3 months ago and he's been a great dog from day one. Easy to housebreak, easy to train, gentle with the kitties and great with other dogs and our neighbor's 2 and 4 year olds. I can't say...

It's about time. Don't worry too much about him...I suspect we will see his big hair in commercials, on tv shows and on the internet for quite awhile "spoofing" himself. Plus, he's young, he'll bounce back pretty quickly!

We've got turkey chili in the crockpot...though probably should have gotten some biscuits or cornbread to eat with it...oh well, too late!

I've only won like $25 tops from one but haven't bought one in a long time. I have a great aunt that picks them up "every once in awhile" and every time she does she wins a couple hundred bucks!! Too bad that luck doesn't run in the family!
