The other month I saw Revolution for cats OTC at a local Costco (Baltimore, MD region). The price is the same as you would get from the vet, but not the "bonus dose" that is promoted through the vet.when buying two boxes ($114 total). So I use sparingly through the Winter (every other month)...
Me and my cats got a learning curve on this. My tabby "Lucy" even senses I'm going to trim she yank that paw back faster than I can blink! I usually take her to a groomer for a trim but she does get a little car sick. The one thing the article really didn't address when a cat is declawed is...
The daily routine for Will (being a Ragdoll) is first slicker brush against the grain, then saw-tooth comb bringing the coat back back to normal, then final slicker to collect any residual loose fur. Then I do the belly. Lucy (Shorthair tabby) just the slicker against the grain then back to...
About once a week my Ragdoll Will tosses up something that's long, wet but firm, and about the same color as my tan carpet. Watched him caughing and hacking until it came out once last week. I'm assuming it's a hairball as this is my first cat (Lucy is my second, shorthair, tabby with a...
Just tired it on my short-hair cat and looks like it collected more than the slicker did. The undercoat it collected appears longer in length. It also left her fur much more smoother feeling when petting. I'll add to my grooming arsenal.
Question: is yours a long- or short-hair cat? Got one for my Ragdoll and didn't work out too well compared to a Furanator. Haven't tried it yet on my shorthair cat, should try it sometime this week.
So far so good.
Got Will totally on a wet food diet and this morning he ate almost his full ration: 54 to 57 grams. At first he only lapped up only the liquid but managed to entice him to eat some meat by crushing and sprinkling some Temtations on it. Also re-estimated the feeding schedule to...
Samus, it looks more like the other way around. I think Will is having some aggressive issues - subtle, as in crowding Lucy away from her food and denying her the cat tree by holding the lowest cradle and keeping Lucy from climbing up as well as always staring at her - but no fighting or...
Good ideas. Of course I'll have to do it with both cats and I have two "Texas muffins" pans. The only concern is Will doesn't seem to want to go any deeper into a bowl that's not "saucer" depth (an attempt with an automatic feeder earlier was a near disaster, before Lucy came in). Will doesn't...
I got "volunteered" to adopt two cats in my small apartment: Will the 3 year old male declawed Ragdoll, and Lucy the 1 or 2+ year old female fully-clawed American shorthair. Got Will back in February and Lucy came in last week. Despite my best efforts, Will "forced" the introductions a week...
