Well, a Himalayan is a cross between a Persian and a Siamese. they were created in the 1920's give or take.. Yours definitely looks Himalayan. There are Tortie Himalayan. I have one..

My Lola has lots of hair and I have to brush her everyday for at least 20 minutes or so. She doesn't hate it, but sometimes she gets annoyed. I have found that with a set pattern/schedule she have become more accustom to getting brushed and has figured out it's gonna happen regardless.

I agree, I had cats that did this. It has to do with scent..  So keep your clothes in places where they can't get to them. My laundry baskets were similar in shape to the litterbox too. coincidence?  Maybe.
