I’m so glad you got this checked out. My worry was you were feeling hard stool in his colon, a sign of megacolon (being overweight is a risk factor). You did the right thing, and now you know a good vet for cats!!

Try one of those electric butterfly toys or another interactive toy. She’s used to being outside where stuff moves, not just stuffed toys.

I’m in your shoes, and my cat hates it if my house gets messy. Dishes smell if they sit, the floor gets dusty. A pile of clothes makes a room look unrecognizable. :sigh: I find myself cleaning for the cat more than for myself.

They are great cats, but the Ragdoll aren’t cloned, so there’s zero guarantee you won’t wind up with an aloof cat. Good shelters and fosters are much better at predicting personality than DNA.
