Works like a charm, have used it with feral cats and they learn the box immediately with this litter. Don't get the additive, for a big problem like you have you need the actual litter. Get the litter and fill the box with it, and make sure you have thoroughly cleaned the house where she has...
Buy a bag of Cat Attract litter, and fill litter box with this, and only this. Keep the litter box meticulously clean, scoop at LEAST twice a day.
And make SURE anywhere the cat may have gone before is cleaned completely, no residue or scent left.
Is this something new or has this been going...
Smoosh some catnip into a couple of those cardboard scratchers described by @jcat above to get her to try it, and that should do it, she'll get over the rug thing eventually if she has a good alternative.
Part of living with a cat, though, really; pretty much everything you do is going to be...
Never put a non-breakaway type collar on a cat, way too risky. My Charli, albeit indoor kitty, will not keep a collar on, no way no how. Since she was a baby, when we tried to keep a collar on her with a little bell, she took them off. Not only would she take them off, but they were no where...
That's what I was thinking, as my Charli and my two kittens had some smacking around going on until they got to know what each other was all about. It wasn't fighting, it was kind of playing with a little edge, like your video and what you are seeing. I initially was intervening, then realized...
Nah, it's just a little rough play. Actual fighting would be very noisy, they would be very vocal, growling and the like, this is more slapping around. How long have they been together? I know you said you had the one for a while, and this is the first time with two, so just wondering how...
I didn't try the Stella and Chewy's yet, but I will. I wanted to cut back the potatoes without trying anything new, just to be sure. She has had a FEW a day, as opposed to TOO MANY a day, and I'm sure that's what it was.
Charli is a talkative girl, and she loves talking to her daddy...she...
The transformation has been pretty amazing. I've dealt with feral kittens before, but these two were pretty extreme when they were first caught, more so than previous ones.
Maggie was caught first, and gave a serious bite to my hubby.
Rosie was caught the next day, she was so much smaller...
Some of you may remember I trapped two feral kittens December 16th.
This is a picture of Rosie and Maggie....Rosie is the tummy up kitten.
They were sleeping on my lap last night.
Slippery Elm Bark is exactly what I use, it's the best stuff!!
I use it when she has a problem, and I also use it when transitioning to a new food...avoids a lot of problems, and there's no smell or taste to turn off kitty!
:)
I'm hoping potato avoidance will do it.
You'd think those making these treats, being that that are limited ingredient, you'd think the ingredients they were limited to would be ones that would not be problematic...I never knew about potato, but we are knocking that out to see if that's the culprit...
Thank you.
Could the potatoes do it?
She has had probiotics in the past, but I gave them to her when I was trying to clear up that mess she had caused by the clavamox, boy that stuff was bad news for my little girl...never again, we will def go with something else.
But anyhow, I don't give her...
Hope this isn't too long, but a little bit of history.
Charli was fed hound & gatos as a kitten. At 5 months I transitioned her to raw. Long story short, there were two bouts of what was most likely bad raw. ( I was ordering from reliable source on line, frozen, but...) So anyhow, after...
"Charli" was a 6 week old kitten, given to my husband by our daughter for his birthday...He took one look at her and said she reminded him of Charlie Chan..lol...so, "Charli"
"Maggie" is one of two feral kittens trapped on December 16th. I looked at her, thought of my sister (who passed...
