This is Ritchie who always seems to want to sleep with his hind end up the way. His 5 siblings are more normal in their sleeping positions. This was taken on his first birthday.

    Orange Tabby w/black hairs/whiskers

I have a ginger boy with a black whisker on each side of his nose. His brother, who is also ginger hasn't got any black whiskers, yet.  They have a dark tortoiseshell mom and a sister who looks just like their mom, a black with white legs and stomach brother and a ginger with white feet, stomach...

    Describe My Cat

Thanks!  She's the only girl in a litter of six who were taken from their mother at 3 weeks. They were brought to me in a gym bag several days later dehydrated and starving. That was last August. They will be a year old next week. I've finally learned how to sleep through their late night zoomies.

    Describe My Cat

I was wondering what you would call this coloring?  I've always said Bonnie is a torbie, but when I look for images of torbies, they don't look anything like her. She has no white patches at all, but she does have cream colors on her feet. Her five brothers are either blue, blue tabby, or black...

    Boy or a girl?

Male cats have a tiny round hole where the penis comes out below where the testicles used to be. Females have a vertical slit below their anus. However, a pregnant female about to give birth can sometimes fool you as her female parts will swell to allow the kittens to exit the birth canal.

    Carrying Toy and Crying

I have many cats who do that and it always seems to be an attention thing. The ages range from 10 months to 14 years both neutered male and spayed female.  Bucky, who is 10 months old just brought me the remains of an old feather toy. I tried seeing if he wanted it thrown, but he just kept...

Separating kittens from mom...please give advice

I trapped a feral mother cat last year with her two 12 week old kittens. It took about a month to get them socialized, but it took 6 months to get the mom to let me touch her. It takes constant talking, petting and feeding, and it helps if you have other cats they can see you petting. These...

    Alternative to Litter Genie?

I'm to the point now, with 15 cats who use litter boxes, I have to empty the little genies (I have four) at least once a week. It's breaking my back taking them to the trash collection site. Who knew 8 kittens could generate that much waste?

What would you call a blue cat with stripes on legs and tummy

This is BB, the larger of the two blue kittens now. The stripes have almost gone except for the tail.  They both have lovely golden eyes with a green ring around the pupil.

    Dichroic Eyes

I was wondering how common golden eyes with a bright green ring around the pupil are. I have ten cats I have taken in who are descended from one poor little female owned by an irresponsible person who lives about 1/4 mile from here. One has golden eyes, but all three of her kittens have the...

    Post your sleeping beauties!!!

This is Bonnie. She is the only girl in a litter of six given to me in a gym bag when they were only 3.5 weeks old. She may be tiny, but she holds her own in the numerous wrestling matches with her bigger brothers.

What would you call a blue cat with stripes on legs and tummy

Thanks for the information.  Of all the cats I've had over my lifetime, I've never had any blue ones.  They are all such sweeties, but they seem to think climbing my legs is the best game in town. Thank goodness for neosporin.
