One of our cats, Addie, can't be spayed because she has an allergy to anaesthetics (she very nearly died when exposed to very minimal levels). That's not a huge problem as far as procreation because our males are neutered and she has no access to the outdoors (we live in an apartment building...
We had a bit of a food emergency (didn't realize we were out in time to get to the pet store) and grabbed a bag of Beneful for Max. Thing is, he LOVES it. Comes running over at full speed and goes to town on that kibble, even dry, and usually he's picky about dry kibble. Plus, the bowl is...
It's not that it doesn't hurt, just that it only REALLY hurts at the exact moment the strip is pulled off. And even then, only a few areas were worse than waxing your eyebrows or legs or something.
You should trim to some degree, I think....probably you can find out what the ideal length would...
UPDATE....
I went this morning. It wasn't too bad. It hurt when the strips were coming off, but didn't continue to be very painful. Already, the redness and irritation is starting to go away. It's true what I've read.....the worst spot is at the top of....well, you know where it's the most...
The bleeding isn't from any major irritations. The hair being pulled from the follicle causes little pinpricks of bleeding, but doesn't leave any rawness or open wounds or anything. I did it last night, but it's already fine. You can't see anything out of the ordinary. There's no problem...
I know you men on TCS aren't going to be able to help reading, so I warn you it's about nether-regions (as my grandma says)....lol
I want to get a Brazilian wax. Shaving just doesn't work for me, because my skin is so sensitive I end up with a rash.....by the time the rash is gone, the hair...
Bf doesn't snore too much, but sometimes he does and it'll take me a while to get him to shift position. He also smacks his lips when he's settling himself after moving around.
Once he punched me (not hard, luckily) in the head. He felt SO bad! Also, sometimes he gets....shall we...
What is everyone and/or their kids being for Halloween?
I'm working on costumes for the kids I mind (I'm a nanny). The twins are going as Mario and Luigi, and their sister is going as Link from Zelda. It's a whole Nintendo theme this year! The hardest thing to find has been overalls in the...
I shudder every time I see a "small study" quoted in the popular news. Seriously, a sample size of 22 people is laughable.
I don't get the chocolate craving thing. I do get strong cravings for a specific food every once in a while, usually something my mom makes that I haven't had lately...
My main concern with the MMP was not the salary issue, but the cut off for seat eligability. A party would need a minimum of 3% to be eligable for a seat....that's pretty low. The system would have some benefits insofar as representation for existing parties that have support, just not enough...
I didn't catch it, but I meant to. Maybe I'll download. I LOVE Kristin Chenoweth, she is awesome. I mean, she literally inspires awe in me. Anyone wants to be stunned, check out her singing 14G on youtube. She's fabulous.
Right now I've got Van Morrison - Caravan in my head. Actually, I'm pretty much just repeating the part where he's yelling about the radio.
You know....
"Turn it up, turn it up, little bit higher, radio!
Turn it up, that's enough, just so you know it's got soul."
All the mumbling about...
Isn't it funny how certain traits and/or interests can be tolerated or even enjoyed in your SO, when other people couldn't stand it? For example, my bf's sense of humour and my own are not the same (his is quite....lewd and mine is dry, even black), but I find him funny and he finds me funny...
I am SO watching. I love Grey's Anatomy and I'm really hoping this season will come back stronger than ever. However, bf loves Halo as much as I love GA. So, in the spirit of compromise, I made a deal with my boyfriend: Unlimited friends over for Halo3 at all hours this week with the...
I had pityriasis rosea once in college and the first doctor I saw had NO clue. Gave me something for a fungal infection and I went back to the clinic a week later when it did NOTHING. The doctor, who was much older than the first, said "um, no, it wouldn't help at all, seeing as how that is...
