May I ask how old is your cat and what does it weigh? I don't know the calorie count in what your feeding but it seems light to me. To wean her off fish, I would gradually add a non-fish protein to her canned food until you have elimated the fish, if that is what you want to do.
Our vet said that the kittens were in a new surrounding and to take things slow since stress can cause issues too. They also had a wicked upper respitory infection. They came from a kill shelter and we're underweight as well. I went really slow. I started small like a teaspoon of the new food at...
When I adopted my youngest two I switched them to better quality and no matter what I tried they had issues so I went back to what they were fed before I adopted them and very, very slowly changed them over and had no trouble. I rotated different brands, Nutro Natural Choice soft loaf, Tiki cat...
My crew likes the Whole Earth Farms duck pate but I add a bit of water to it. They are all rescues from a kill shelter. They would eat anything when I brought them home but now they are fuss buckets and I'm afraid I'm to blame. Sigh.
I work from home. I have 3 cats, one older and two that are around 1-1/2. All are rescues. The older one is about 15 - 16 pounds. He is a big cat and we call him the dude. Anyway, I feed 3 meals. I find if I feed two, the older one will scarf his food and then vomit or he will vomit because of...
Nutro Natural Choice is around a dollar or so a can for a small can. Bravo canned comes out to be about the same for a 5.5 Oz can is around $2 on Chewy. The one with duck is more expensive. I may give it a try. Thanks for posting
I have tried both Primal and S&C. My crew loves S&C freeze-dried. I had to play with
how much water to add for these fuss buckets. :) Their favorite is the turkey but they also eat the chicken and the duck & goose.
Our Trotter had his yearly check-up week ago and he weighed in at 15 lbs. Vet said he was fine, healthy, and looked good. I think like others have said it depends on the cat. Trotter is a big boy.
I took Trotter to vet today for his yearly check-up and rabies shot. We've moved so this is a new vet. It was refreshing to hear from her mouth the best food is the one your cat will eat. Do they need corn or grains no but if that's the only thing they will eat and they don't have a problem it's...
