I never feed Rupert the same flavor for more than 2 meals in a row as well. I think it just keeps things interesting for them, and varies the nutrient levels and sources.
I agree with the theory of doing the initial rounds but stopping there. I think its necessary to a degree so as not to leave your cat completely defneseless. But I agree with others that secondary illnesses can occur because of certain vaccinations.
If you believe in ghosts, I would say its possible. But I think cats are kind of spacy sometimes where they just like to zone out for long periods of time.... My opinion :)
Ha I believe most cats enjoy doing things like that. I believe everything is probably fine. My cat used to jump on my back while sleeping and nibble my ears to wake me up every morning. :)
I would try placing the food in some sort of large crate that can be closed while they are eating. Though it isn't ideal, trapping might be necessary. Its better than them trying to survive on their own. Good luck!
I don't know if I would add water to the food. It might help it keep moist a little bit longer but it will ruin the consistency and make it worse I think. And if your cat is that picky it might be a problem.
