Ok, well the next available appointment is on Friday. Hopefully he doesn’t deteriorate in that time. This is a very rural area and we don’t have emergency vets or walk in clinics, either. The most they do without an appointment is walk in/emergency euthanasia.

I don’t think it required an empty stomach. We have some soft treats too but so far she hasn’t had much of an appetite so has refused even those. Maybe once the dose is lowered I’ll be able to convince her to eat some treats and can stop the hand pilling.
