in the midwest at least mosquitoes and fleas are really populated this summer. Though my cats are strictly indoors I decided to use Revolution. My vet charges $12 per treatment. I do see places online that state can be bought without a prescription, I'm not sure I trust those sites
they make pet doors that will only open for the cats wearing a special collar, you could put that door on a feeding station or a room, Faith wouldn't have the collar and couldn't get in and would have to be fed separate
one of my 5 cats was eating too much and getting way fat, I built a special feeding station with a door so only the small cats could fit thru to get food, fatso was fed wet food 3 times per day separately. He lost 6lbs and is about normal now.

My male cat was about 7lbs overweight and the dry foods designated for overweight cats didn't do anything, in fact I think he still gained weight on it. I switched him totally to wet food and he has lost 6 lbs. I have 4 cats and all have different eating habits.

It's a way to scam customers out of more money, people like the convenience of paying online or automatic withdraw and the companies know this. $1 or $2 doesn't seem like much but if a company has thousands of customers it adds up to a nice little pool of extra income
