My cats have been eating dry food for most of their lives (they are 7) but I feed them high quality grain free food. Wet food never set well with them. My vet keeps an eye on them and they are very healthy.
Do you use your garage? The thing that worries me is them getting in to things or getting out when I open the door. I want to be able to park my small car in there.
I think we came up with a solution that the cats should like. I'm thinking of building a walkway above the water heater, far enough above with 1 hour fire rated materials to be safe, to go to the enclosure on the other side so they get exercise and get to be up high like they like, are enclosed...
I thought about the linen closets, but they are very skinny if I'm remembering correctly. I hope they aren't as skinny as I think lol, because that could work great for me. I also thought about under the sink in the kids bathroom, it's a really long cabinet.
I will look up the furniture...
I use cat's pride fresh and light. I, and the cats, love it. Clumps hard so it's easy to scoop out the urine and it really does great with the smell. Only downside is it's easy to track.
I'm moving in to a new house soon and I just discovered that I can't put the boxes where I thought I could. I was going to cut a hole in the wall above the washer to create a space in the garage for the boxes. Enclosed, but open (chicken wire or wire fence material) so it could be in the garage...
I agree with cast4us. My new house doesn't seem to have a suitable place for my cat boxes. I haven't moved in yet, and I'm at a loss on where to put it.
Thank you everyone!
Everyone who sees my cats have a hard time telling them apart lol. The crazy this is that I found Giblet on Thanksgiving (that's how she got her name) and I was given Gravy 6 months later. I have a feeling they have the same parents. The lady that gave me Gravy lives not too...
Lol that would be weird to find the cat there in the middle of the night.
I had two cats that I tried to toilet train. They did really well, until I was on the stage right before removing all the litter. After that they started peeing in the tub. Luckily for me it wasn't on the floor. I just...
I have two cats name Giblet and Gravy who look almost identical, but female and male. I have had them for about 8 years now. Wow time flies.
My female, Giblet, is on the right and my male, Gravy is on the left.
