Yes, the waterer was kind of our last hope before giving in and buying a fountain. We live in an apt so modifications aren't possible. She's been a picky drinker since we adopted her. IAny advice on reasonably priced, well working fountains? I live on a fixed income so cost is an issue
Found it - here is what we have. Except of course, ours is pink. =)

Hi again. What we have isn't a fountain, but a dispenser. The kind with the bottle that tips into a bowl, but it is a high end microban bottle and it comes with a filter that attaches to the bottom of the bottle. As horrible as it sounds, I wish she was drinking out of the toilet! Then she...
For months or cat,Trix, refused to drink out of a dish, preferring to drink out of the bathtub faucet. We put a stop to that because we are sometimes away all day. Yet she turned up her nose at water in a bowl. Or water doesn't taste the best so we got her a water dispenser with a filter. She...
My 11 month old cat is starting to get a little on the chubby side. We fill her bowl in the morning and she usually finishes it by the next morning - it holds about 2 1/2 cups. And then she gets 1/2 a packet of moist cat food from a packet or about half a can of fancy feast.
I want to get her...
First of all, thanks to whoever it was that fixed my Title typo. LOL
Great ideas here, thanks! I never even thought about rotating her toys! Our last cats, Boo and and Dakoda, was so easy when it came to play time - if it moved, they would go after it. Trix is a lot pickier. The only thing...
OOps, Title Typo - that was Do you think cat's can HAVE ADHD?
If so, then I am positive my cat has it! lol
I've had a lot of cats, so I am used to them having a hyper time of the day. Most of my cats have had their hyper time at night time, when the humans are settling down for the night 10...
The bell makes it easier to keep track of where the cat is so it doesn't accidentally get out. Even without the extreme....I don't know how many times I accidentally kicked or stepped on our cat when I was rushing around making dinner or other stuff that doesn't allow me to watch the floor for...
That sounds like a really neat idea! A way to be close with caution, and maybe in time you'll fall in love again. ;)
If you ever need an ear, feel free to pm me.
My strictly indoor cat has a collar with id tags and a bell so I know where she is at all times. One thing I am noticing really fast about this forum is that there seems to be a lot of judgement. This is cruel, that is cruel ... and now you're saying collars and bells are cruel? I wonder if...
Really great idea's, thanks!!! I never even thought about getting a cheap door mat. My last cat was declawed - she was the first cat I ever personally owned, and my landlord would only allow declawed cats. I was a lot more ignorant back then about the effects of declawing on the poor little...
I'm working on deterring our cat from scratching the furniture and she seems to be doing so-so, but she is showing not a single bit of interest in her the scratcher I bought her. I spent the money on a good cardboard one (the kind that come with the catnip) that would hold up well, it's not...
Our table used to be the one stop junk drop, but we lived in a modified motel for 2 1/2 years up until 9/1 where our bedroom was also the dining room, so now we are really loving having a table again. At first she was jumping all over us while we ate, but we started giving her her daily ration...
